Independence is structural
No product to sell and no house position to defend. Our only commercial relationship is the one with the client, which is the only way advice stays honest.

The principal does the work
Engagements are not sold by one person and delivered by another. The principal who takes the first call is the one who does the thinking and sits in the room for the difficult decision.

Plainly stated, or not stated
If a recommendation cannot be explained to a board in plain language, it is not yet finished thinking. We show the reasoning, name the trade-offs, and say what would change our mind.

We say no
We decline engagements where we are not the right firm, where the question is already answered, or where the client wants cover for a decision already taken. Turning work away is what makes the work we accept worth something.
The firm
Deliberately small.
We are deliberately small. Engagements are led by the principal rather than delegated down a pyramid, and we take a limited number at any one time. That constraint is the product. It is what lets us think carefully, speak plainly and stay genuinely independent of the outcome.
It also means we are candid about scale. We are not a bank, we do not have a research floor, and we will tell you when a question needs a specialist we are not. What we offer is undivided attention from someone who has thought seriously about the problem you are facing.

His background extends into digital assets, where he has worked across ventures, advisory roles, commercial partnerships and business development.
